Bedrooms
This charming
house has four double bedrooms and upper salon offering
additional flexible sleeping accommodation.
Bedroom 1: The room has a unique king
sized bed, customised with four towering zinc pillars
rescued from the roof of a chateau. A bright room, with
limed oak wood floor, and views over terracotta rooftops
towards the Petit Luberon range. There is an en-suite
bathroom and WC.
Bedroom 2:
A queen sized bed with four silvered posts covered with
clinging vines. The bed rests on a limed oak floor and
sits beneath a French styled beamed ceiling. The en-suite
bathroom shares panoramic views of the Cedar Forest
and Luberon hills. Amongst the best views from the house.
Bedroom 3:
Situated in a 16th century tower, this room provides
a king sized, gothic bed draped with magenta muslin.
The fireplace has delicately moulded vine decoration
and a fire grate for taking the chill out of winter
evenings. The corner window presents a view over the
rooftops towards the valley and hills. Bedrooms 3 and
4 share a family bathroom.
Bedroom 4:
On the top floor this room provides a king sized four-poster
bed with light drapes. Undoubtedly the best views! Adjoining
bedroom four is a salon with overspill sleeping for
two. Both areas have planked light oak flooring. Cot
available on request.
Bathrooms
The family
bathroom has rustic tiled floor and walls. The walk-in
shower has a Philippe Starck column shower. There is
a white porcelain double person sink and a wall suspended
WC.
The bathroom of bedroom
1 has a double sink and Philippe Starck bath with chrome
shower over. Walls and floor are finished with grey
slate tiles and adorned with a large ‘Venetian’
mirror.
The bathroom adjoining
bedroom 2 is in a traditional 19th century style. A
double-ended bateau bath offers views of the Cedar Forest
and the Luberon. A chrome shower sits over the bath.
On the ground floor is
a convenient WC with hand basin.
